Start Learning Center was founded in 1991 by Juana
(Fina) in a small center
on Miller Drive and operated it very successfully,
so much so that in
2001 Early Start moved to a much larger
and brand new building in the
present location. Fina has over twenty years of experience
educating children. Her personal touch makes our school the best option
for your child's education. We
offer the best education
and care for your children in the Miami area. We are a center that
takes pride in our family enviroment, where everybody is treated with
respect and communication is priority.
We have a 10,500 square feet purpose built facility, on four
of grass. Your children will play outdoors on grass in a natural
setting. We have a dedicated dining room, the children do not eat in
the classrooms, so our classrooms are the cleanest in town. Come visit
us!. [LEARN MORE

Start Learning Center
we provide educational child care in a nurturing, safe and stimulating
enviroment. We will provide your child with the tools needed
be successful in all aspects of their lives.
We useThe Creative Curriculum (TCC) as
our educational framework for all of our age groups (Infants -
Four-year olds, including VPK). TCC translates
child development theory and research into best practice, clearly
defining the teacher’s vital role in connecting content, teaching, and
learning for children. It emphasizes the five components of teaching
very young children effectively: how children develop and learn, the
learning environment, what children learn, caring and teaching, and
partnering with families.
Three- and Four-Year Olds classrooms (including VPK) also use The
Scholastic Early Childhood Program (SECP) as a supplement to ensure
that our little learners develop the early learning skills and
experiences critical for their future success in school. Through
purposeful play as well as explicit instruction, the SECP provides a
strong foundation in early literacy, language, math, and science skills
while encouraging personal and social development.
